I BOUGHT THIS ABOUT A MONTH AGO WITH THE BLOWER AND SO FAR IT IS RUNNING
GOOD. I WILL BE BUYING SOME MORE ATTACHMENTS PRETTY SOON.ONLY THING I DON’T
LIKE ABOUT IT IS THAT I AM LEFT HANDED I HAVE RUINED A COUPLE SHIRTS. I WISH
I COULD REMEMBER THE THE KIND OF TRIMMER I HAD ABOUT 12 YEARS AGO THE EXHAUST

Air Gets in line…Hard to start

I have the same problem as a previous reviewer. Air gets in line and it is VERY difficult to start. You can see bubbles in primer line. Once started it kills and can be difficult to restart. I am going to return this.

I bought this item from the military exchange at a discount. It broke down on the very first time I used it. The disk that delivers the line stopped rotating (so no cutting!) and the line wouldn’t come out even though I tapped the disk on a smooth surface as directed (I had to stop the motor and pull out the line manually!). I returned it the same day. This is just another piece of junk!!!!
If you want a good weed trimmer, buy a STIHL. They are not discounted but supposedly work well and are serviced by their dealerships. That’s what I am going to get.

I was apprehensive after reading other reviews, but I was able to get this one sale and couldn’t pass up the deal. It worked wonderfully out of the box and after using it about 10 times, it is still starting easily and running well.

I’ve only used it once, but it seems to have plenty of power. The bump-line advance is easy, as was the startup. I haven’t tried any of the attachments, but I love having the option. With any luck, this trimmer will last!

I owned a Weed Eater and it finally died. It was a good machine. I was prejudiced against the new machine thinking it wouldn’t be the same. I was wrong. I like this machine. I haven’t used it much this summer but when I have, it ran well. I had to adjust the idle once.

Be aware, When I ordered the item the description read: ” With INCLUDED attachments…” THERE ARE NO ATTACHMENTS EXCEPT THE STRING TRIMMER!!! Don’t expect the edger, tiller, etc. Somehow I wasn’t surprised, but still this was false advertising on Amozon’s part.

I ordered this trimmer. It is apparently manufactered by the same people as homelite and John Deere trimmers so can not expect too much quality–just a low price throwaway item to replace every year or two.
The first one arrived with a broken cover to the air filter area. Flimsy plastic cover. Called Amazon and recieved replacement–sent back original.
Replacement arrived as promised. Does not start-suspect defective fuel system(priming bulb pulls in air bubbles with gas). Called Poulan–Determined defective. Gave me name of local repair center. Didn’t expect a long service life, but at least expect to work when first get it out of the box! Local independent repair service was fast and courteous. Gave them just the motor portion. On return started fine. Well balanced, not bad vibration. Shortly after started using, started running rough and smoking near string end. Swapped to an older attachment and finished job. Took in attachment for repair–the bearings had seized within 15 minutes of use! Will be a week before I get it back. Fortunately I have spare attachments from past trimmers that fit.
